Visit from SC

My brother, Tyler, and his friend M.J. came out to visit last weekend. We were glad to have them! As usual, we had to hit up some spots that were mentioned on South Park. Last time it was Casa Bonita. This time we went to PF Chang's. (Which apparently was on the show at some point? They don't have this restaurant in SC and I didn't mind eating there at all! Casa Bonita was another story...) The boys also took a trip to Colorado Springs. They went for many reasons. One of which was to see a friend of Tyler's from the army. Another was to visit the Cave of the Winds. Apparently, it was here - in an episode of South Park- that Al Gore was seeking the great ManBearPig. Tyler & MJ made official t-shirts for their own ManBearPig search and it was hilarious.

Beyond seeking South Park landmarks, we tried to do the Coors plant tour and try out the Alpine slide. Both were closed. We went 0-2 that day. I wasn't too much fun since I had to work on Friday and Monday. Blake was on a trip a chunk of the time they were here as well. However, they made the most of it. They climbed the Flatirons at crazy speed and then ran all of the way down. Good thing I didn't go on that trip. They would have done a lot of waiting on me.

Even though Easter was cold and rainy, we still celebrated the day. Brunch with Blake's family was delicious, as usual. The rest of the day was lazy - complete with Wii bowling and lounging around. It was a good weekend and it was nice to have Tyler & MJ around. They never cease to entertain.
