Six Months!

Length: 26.5 inches (75th percentile)
Weight: 15 lbs 5 oz (25th percentile)
Head Circumference: 16.7 inches (50th percentile)


Presley turned 6 months old on December 20th.  Here are some things that describe our little girl these days:
- Likes to get up on her hands and knees and rock back and forth. One day soon she is going to take off!
- Sits unassisted for short amounts of time.
- Laughs at fake sneezes, peek-a-boo, and blowing raspberries on her stomach
- Now sleeps about 11-13 hours straight on most nights!
- Currently has her 2nd cold.  Having a sick baby is no fun.
- Always smiles when she catches your eye across the room.  This melts my heart!
- Is about to start eating food for the first time.  The doctor said that since we waited until six months, she can start with baby food right away and skip the rice cereal.  I'm sure there will be many fun pictures of this adventure to come.
- LOVES our dog, Mac.  She leans down toward him when we are holding her.  She loves to reach towards him and he responds by licking her hands.  It's so gross.  We try to keep him from licking her, but sometimes it just happens.  (sigh)
-Favorite toys are her teething rings and her bright pink & yellow stuffed flower.

Even though being a parent has its tough moments, we are having a lot of fun with our precious little girl.  We can't wait to spend our first Christmas with her.  Should be fun!
