Snow in the south...

Following the trend of the east coast winter weather, South Carolina got some snow yesterday.  From what I have been told, Columbia received about 8 inches.  That is a blizzard for those parts!  Even the beaches got some snow.  I want to share this picture that my grandparents sent me today.  They are vacationing in Myrtle Beach.  They woke up to a view of snow instead of sand!  I've never seen snow on a beach before, but I guess it can happen.  I think people were confused about whether to build a snow man or a sand castle.  Craziness!
