The Christmas Post

What a blessed and joyful Christmas holiday!  We got a foot of snow a couple of days before the holiday, so the weather was sufficiently cold and the ground was beautifully white.  Just the way I like it!  I had the opportunity to help with our church's Christmas Eve service this year.  I helped write the drama portion of the service and I had been working with the actors since October rehearsing all of the scenes.  It was awesome to see everything come together.  Here's a link to the podcast of the Christmas Eve service in case you want to embrace the Christmas season a little bit longer.

My mom also came into town and it was a lot of fun to have her around.  We baked cookies, went shopping, and spent time playing with Presley.  Here are some pictures from our family celebrations!

Presley's present on Christmas Eve.

My nephews enjoying their new slippers.

Presley saw this kitchen in the living room and said, "Whaaat?"  Then she ran over to play with it.  Hilarious.

Cheese!

She also LOVES this puppy that she got.  It goes EVERYWHERE with us now.

Funniest present ever.  There is a story...but it's too long for here and now.  :)

Our lame attempt at a picture of the kids with the great-grandparents.  Toddlers are practically impossible.

Presley's other big gift!

Can you tell she likes it?
