15 Months Old
Baby Girl is 32.5 inches long (90th percentile) and weighs 22lbs 3oz (50th percentile).
I can't believe Presley is 15 months old! I have to admit that I'm relieved there is not a "15" sticker to try to take a picture of her wearing, because there is no way she would sit still long enough. Presley is always moving, running, squealing, babbling, laughing... She is quite entertaining these days. Here is a little of what she is up to...
-If she is hungry, she likes to go bang on the pantry or climb on her high chair. If she is thirsty she knows how to say "milk" and stand in front of the fridge looking pathetic.
-She has to take two medications a day for reflux and asthma and she ROCKS it. The pill she takes at night must be sweet, because she says, "Yummm!" while she is chewing it.
-Presley is learning the art of having a tantrum. Enough said.
-She loves post-bath naked time. She always wants to wear shoes and nothing else. Ha, ha.
-Speaking of shoes, she is obsessed. She only has three pairs that fit right now and she likes to alternate them often... sometimes wearing all three pairs in a 30 minute period of time.
-She loves to hug her baby dolls and push them around in her stroller. She also likes to push around blocks, her stuffed puppy, balls, and pretty much anything that she can fit.
-Presley has no fear and she is crazy independent. She feels no need to stay near us when in public places, so that can be a little scary. She likes to run and explore and be outside.
-She still "talks" constantly and occasionally actual words pop out.
-She loves to read books. Loves it. And few things make me happier than when she brings me a book and sits in my lap for me to read it.
In other BIG news!
Life is going to drastically change for us soon, because my last day at my full-time job is this Wednesday. We have decided that it will be best for our family for me to be home. It's going to be a huge lifestyle change for us, but we are excited about more time together and a little less schedule juggling. I'm a little scared that I'm going to go crazy, so any suggestions from stay at home moms are welcome. Here goes nothing!
