A few times a week Presley sleeps all of the way through the night without waking up. It is a great pleasure for us to sleep through the night, and it is a privilege that Blake and I do not take for granted. Along with her extended sleeping hours come the challenge of battling the leaky diaper. How to keep her dry (and sleeping) until morning?
Our solution is what we have begun to endearingly call "the Big Diaper". Every night before bed we put on Presley's normal size diaper and then an overnight diaper in a size bigger on top of that one. It seems to work pretty well! We have even immortalized it with a song we sing each night as the big diaper is put on...
"Big, Big Diaper...has lots and lots of room,
Big, Big Diaper... holds lots and lots of poo.
Big, Big Diaper... it comes up to your chest,
Big, Big Diaper... it helps you get some rest."
Ah, are these the things we will share at Presley's wedding rehearsal dinner one day?
